Peru’s iron ore output grows year-on-year in January
Peru’s iron ore production increased year-on-year in January. Month-on-month output, however, was down, according to the latest mines and energy ministry (MEM) data monitored by Kallanish.
“The country’s iron ore production saw a strong January,” says MEM. “The substantial growth was supported by the higher production of Shougang Hierro Perú CPS1 mining unit in Marcona.”
