Peru’s monthly iron ore output slips after peak
Peruvian iron ore production fell sequentially in April after reaching a six-month high in the previous month. Output, however, was stronger year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Iron ore output was 1.03 million tonnes in April, down 15.5% versus March’s 1.22mt but 8.4% more y-o-y, according to the latest Peruvian Mines and Energy Ministry (Minem) report.
