Peru’s April iron ore output rises sequentially
Peruvian iron ore production rose month-on-month in April. Four-month performance also remained higher on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1.02 million tonnes in April, 26.3% more over March. No year-on-year comparison is enabled since the country`s production had been temporarily halted in the same period in 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
