Peru's Aceros Arequipa sees 2023 sales fall
Peruvian electric arc furnace-based long steel supplier Aceros Arequipa (AA) saw its performance weaken quarter-on-quarter in the last trimester of 2023. The company’s main indicators were also lower year-on-year.
According to the company’s latest quarterly report seen by Kallanish, net sales reached PEN 1.02 billion ($271.2 million) in Q4, 10.1% less than the previous quarter and down 20.8% compared with the same period in 2022.
