Peru iron ore output lowers in early 2019
Peruvian iron ore production decreased year-on-year in January, according to the latest data issued by the country's mines and energy ministry (MEM), monitored by Kallanish.
“National iron ore production was impacted by lower production at Shougang Hierro Perú (SHP) during the period. Minera Shouxin Perú (MSP) increased significantly on-year its performance, but its output represents only a 7.1% share,” MEM says.
