Paul Wurth provides JFE with coke oven battery
Japanese steelmaker JFE Steel Corporation has ordered a stamp charged coke oven battery from SMS Group subsidiary Paul Wurth.
The new facility will be constructed at JFE's Fukuyama works and will have a capacity of 682,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish learns. The battery consists of 52 ovens and is the first of its kind in Japan, Paul Wurth says.
