Pakistan scrap prices drop, buyers await further decline
Ferrous scrap demand in Pakistan's market is facing a sluggish trend, resulting in a downturn in import prices, notes Kallanish.
EU-origin shredded scrap prices have witnessed a decrease by $4-7/tonne on a weekly basis, now resting at $435-438/t cfr Pakistan. Similarly, busheling bundled scrap is priced at $448-452/t cfr.
United Arab Emirates-origin HMS (80:20) scrap prices range from $415-420/t, while fabrication scrap stands at $440-442/t cfr.
