Ovako’s orders and sales rise in Q2
Ovako lifted its shipments in the second quarter of 2017 by 5% year-on-year to 212,000 tonnes, with revenue going up by 11% to €244 million ($279m).
Operating profit amounted to €22m, up from €21m, before restructuring costs of €2m. Net profit came to €9m, close to last year’s €10m. Order intake increased by 15% y-o-y, the Swedish maker of long products says without giving a figure in this category.
