Ovako majorly lowers hot rolled bar alloy/scrap surcharges
Swedish engineering steel specialist Ovako has reduced four and raised two of its six alloying element surcharges for hot rolled bar for June in a mirror image to that of May. The surcharge for vanadium falls again for the fifth consecutive month and again quite heavily. The company has lowered its scrap surcharge for June following the slight rise for May, Kallanish notes.
