Some rise, some fall for Ovako July surcharges
Sweden engineering steel specialist Ovako has lowered three of its alloy surcharges and raised three others for its hot rolled bar for July. It has however left its scrap surcharge unchanged for July from the previous month, Kallanish notes.
Ovako’s nickel surcharge falls for July to SEK 475/tonne ($54.15/t) per 1% alloying element by weight from its June value of SEK 541/t per 1%. (The $ conversion rate used is that given by Ovako of SEK 0.114). The …
