Ovako lowers alloy surcharges except for soaring vanadium
Swedish engineering steel specialist Ovako has reduced five and raised just one of its six alloying element surcharges for hot rolled bar for December. That for vanadium is strongly increased again for the fifth month in a row. The company does however raise its scrap surcharge for the upcoming month, Kallanish notes.
