Ovako hikes vanadium alloy surcharge for September
Sweden engineering steel specialist Ovako has again raised three and reduced three out of six of its alloying element surcharges for hot rolled bar for September. That for vanadium surges again while the nickel surcharge falls for the first time in 12 months. The company has also lowered its scrap surcharge for the month from that applied in August, Kallanish notes.
