Ovako hikes scrap surcharge for March
Swedish engineering steel specialist Ovako has reduced four and raised two of its six alloying element surcharges for hot rolled bar for March. That for vanadium sees another fierce monthly fall following its bull run during 2018. The company has increased its scrap surcharge significantly however for the upcoming month, following February’s slightly less firm reduction Kallanish notes.
