Outukumpu lowers alloy surcharges for February
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has lowered alloy surcharges month-on-month across its complete range of flat stainless steels for Europe again for February 2019 as foreshadowed by Kallanish (see article dated 21 January).
Surcharges for 300-series austenitic steels have been lowered in a range from -2.72% to -3.90%. Those for the ferritic range also fall but by more m-o-m at -7.07% to -9.01%. This is the seventh month in a row that Outokumpu’…
