Outokumpu upticks stainless flats' alloy surcharges for May
Major stainless steel producer Outokumpu has raised alloy surcharges again for both its austenitic and ferritic ranges of flat stainless steels for Europe for May, Kallanish notes.
Only one grade in the steelmaker’s published list, 316L, has seen its alloy surcharge fall. The other 26 grades have seen the surcharge increase in a range from 0.09% to 3.48%.
