Outokumpu raises US alloy surcharges for austenic stainless
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has raised alloy surcharges for its austenitic flat stainless steels for the US market for March. Kallanish notes. This follows a period of several months when the majority of surcharges for austenitic grades have generally lowered. Surcharges for ferritic grades have almost totally been reduced again. The new rates apply from 1 March through 31 March 2019, the company says.
