Outokumpu nabs US stainless bridge contract
Finnish stainless steel producer Outokumpu has secured a contract for 2,500 tonnes of stainless rebar for a bridge project in the US state of North Carolina, Kallanish reports.
Delivery of the rebar for the Rodanthe Bridge project will be made from Q2 through 2020 from its Richburg, South Carolina, facility, the company says. Harris Rebar will act as the fabrication intermediary.
