Outokumpu majorly raises US alloy surcharges for July
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has raised the majority of the alloy surcharges for its ranges of flat stainless steels for the US market for July, Kallanish notes.
Of the 61 grades of flat stainless products sold by the steelmaker 47 have seen surcharges increase month-on-month in a range from 0.02% to 6.58%. A further 14 grades have had their surcharges reduced by between -0.2% and -3.5%.
