Outokumpu generally lowers US flat stainless alloy surcharges
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has lowered the majority of the alloy surcharges for its ranges of flat stainless steels for the US market for August, Kallanish notes.
Of the 61 grades of flat stainless products sold by the steelmaker only 8 have seen surcharges increase month-on-month in a range from 0.71% to 2.59%. The remaining 53 grades have had their surcharges reduced by between -0.07% and -6.89%.
