Outokumpu majorly lowers US December alloy surcharges
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has lowered alloy surcharges for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for the US market for December, Kallanish notes. Those for ferritic steels meanwhile have been slightly raised in a broadly similar move for both types of product to that in Europe (see separate article). The surcharges apply from 1 December through 31 December, the company says.
