Outokumpu maintains graphite electrode surcharge for April
Major stainless steelmaker Outokumpu has held its graphite electrode surcharge again for April, Kallanish notes.
The surcharge remains at €30/tonne ($37.2/t), a value it has held since the company first introduced the charge in September 2017. The electrode surcharge concerns all new contracts and spot-orders in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia and Asia since 26 September 2017. The graphite electrode surcharge is currently updated monthly.
