Outokumpu lowers European alloy surcharges for January
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has lowered alloy surcharges across its complete range of flat stainless steels for Europe again for January 2019 as foreshadowed by Kallanish (see article dated 30 November).
Surcharges for 300-series austenitic steels have been lowered in a range from -5.07% to -7.06%. Those for the ferritic range also fall in a lower range of -2.23% to -5.00%. This is the sixth month in a row that Outokumpu’s European alloy surcharges …
