Outokumpu increases European alloy surcharges for March
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has raised alloy surcharges month-on-month across its complete range of flat stainless steels for Europe for March 2019, Kallanish notes. These had been on a steady spiral of reduction since September last year.
Surcharges for 300-series austenitic steels have been raised in a range from 7.23-11.6%. Those for the ferritic (400-series) range also increase but less severely so by 1.06-5.97%. Outokumpu’s European alloy …
