Outokumpu generally lowers US flat stainless alloy surcharges
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has lowered alloy surcharges for the majority of its flat stainless steels for the US market for February. Kallanish notes. The average decrease is considerably lower than that seen in January with surcharges for many grades having hardly moved and a few have marginally risen. The new rates apply from 1 February through 28 February 2019, the company says.
