Nucor margin expansion increases Q2 earnings
Charlotte, North Carolina-based steel producer Nucor reported earnings of $1.46 billion, or $5.81 per diluted share, on sales of $9.52 billion in the second quarter of 2023, an increase from Q1 when earnings were $1.14 billion, or $4.45 per diluted share, Kallanish learns.
However, the second-quarter earnings for 2023 are a decrease from Q2 2022 when earnings were $2.56 billion, or $9.67 per diluted share.
