NSSMC plans August restart for Oita plate mill
Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) says it expects to restart operation of its Oita plate mill in early August this year, earlier than the originally-planned September. The mill was forced to shut down after a fire broke out in January, Kallanish notes.
