NSSMC plans another coke oven reline
Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) plans to reline the No. 5 East Coke Oven at its Hokkai Iron & Coke Corporation, it tells Kallanish. The company has also been steadily investing in renovations of most of its coking facilities after a series of accidents in 2014 impacted its results.
