NSSMC builds out international automotive subsidiaries
Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) has two automotive joint ventures overseas that are commissioning this year. These investments, alongside others by Japanese steelmakers and car makers, could support Japanese steel export volumes in the long run, Kallanish notes.
