NSSMC absorbs Wakayama steelworks company
Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) has announced it will formally absorb its subsidiary company Nippon Steel & Sumikin Koutetsu Wakayama Corporation (NSSKW). The formal merger of the wholly-owned subsidiary is aimed at simplifying the management structure and reducing costs, Kallanish notes.
