NSSC decreases November 300 series stainless steel offer
Japan’s Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Corporation (NSSC) has decreased its 300 series November offer for domestic sales as the price of nickel sunk to its lowest so far in 2023, Kallanish notes.
NSSC cut its 300 series offer by JPY 5,000/tonne ($32.9/t) month-on-month for November. This has been on a declining trend since March 2023, with a small bump in June (see Kallanish passim).
NSSC‘s November offer for 400 series is unchanged.
