Northwest wins Vancouver water supply contract
US West Coast large-diameter pipe producer Northwest Pipe Company has secured a contract for 6,500 short tons of pipe for the Second Narrrows Water Supply Tunnel project in the Canadian city of Vancouver, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The pipes will 5-8 feet in diameter and installed in a 19-foot tunnel underneath Burrard Inlet, linking the cities of Burnaby and Vancouver.
Financial terms for the deal were not disclosed.
