Northwest returns to profitability in 2018
US large-diameter pipe producer Northwest Pipe Company returned to the black in 2018, Kallanish learns from the company’s year-end earnings review.
Northwest recorded a 2018 profit of $20.3 million on sales of $172.1m, up from a loss of $10.2m on sales of $132.8m in 2017. About $30.2m of the sales increase was due to the company’s July acquisition of Ameron Water Transmission Group for $38.3m.
