Northwest Pipe doubles profits in second quarter

US steel pipe producer Northwest Pipe Company doubled its profits on-year during the second quarter, largely due to the company’s acquisition of concrete pipe supplier Geneva Pipe in February, Kallanish reports.  Northwest earned $6 million on sales of $70m during the quarter, up from income of $3m on sales of $69.2m in Q2 2019.
