NMDC's June output rebounds, July prices slashed
Indian government-run iron ore miner NMDC reported a significant monthly recovery in iron ore production, reaching 3.37 million tonnes in June.
This marks a 44% increase from May and a 3% rise year-on-year, the firm says in a regulatory filing.
In May, NMDC experienced a production drop due to a workers’ strike, disrupting operations. However, by June, operations had returned to normal, as reported by market participants.
