NMDC sees year-on-year ore production/sales soar in April
Indian state-owned miner NMDC’s monthly iron ore production figures for April rose year-on-year, as sales did likewise on the same basis, Kallanish notes.
The miner’s flagship Chhattisgarh operations produced 2.21 million tonnes in April, the first month of the miner’s new fiscal year. Monthly output grew y-o-y therefore by 40.8%. Iron ore output at Karnataka however was 0.69mt during the month, -18.8% down on-year. Tha…
