NMDC raises September sales
Indian state-owned iron ore miner NMDC increased sales 10% on-year in September to 2.11 million tonnes, although April-September sales remained down -11% on-year at 12.91mt due to the Covid-19 lockdown earlier in the year.
The miner said last week operations at its 7 million tonnes/year Donimalai iron ore mine in Karnataka are expected to resume shortly after the Karnataka Cabinet gave its approval in mid-September (see Kallanish passim).
