NMDC monthly iron ore output lowers again year-on-year
Indian state-owned miner NMDC’s monthly iron ore production figures fell again year-on-year in October. Sales of iron ore also fell on the same comparison, but year-to-date volumes for both categories remain ahead of those in 2018, Kallanish notes.
The miner’s flagship Chhattisgarh operations produced 1.93 million tonnes in October, or -9.1% down y-o-y. Iron ore output at Karnataka was 0.56mt during the month, -49.6% down on-year.…
