NMDC iron ore production/sales remain down on-year
Indian state-owned miner NMDC has published its monthly and cumulative iron ore production and sales figures for January, Kallanish notes. Cumulative production and sales both remained down year-on-year in the month. January’s iron ore sales at Karnataka actually rose slightly on-year, but much-reduced sales out of Chhattisgarh still meant that total volumes were lower.
