NMDC increases July production, raises prices
NMDC sales and production rose 7% and 13% respectively on-year in July to 2.57 million tonnes and 2.19mt.
The Chhattisgarh site saw sales and output rise 20% and 35% respectively to 1.9mt and 1.56mt.
Overall sales and production in April-July were still, however, down -19% and -15% respectively on-year to 8.8mt and 8.98mt due to the Covid-19 pandemic impact in previous months.
