NMDC continues to improve iron ore output year-on-year
Indian state-owned miner NMDC’s monthly iron ore production figures rose slightly year-on-year in January. Sales of iron ore were also higher on the same comparison, leaving year-to-date volumes for both categories ahead of those in 2019, Kallanish notes.
