NLMK USA's sales drop, profits rise
NLMK USA saw sales and demand plummet in the second quarter, but earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) rose on improved price spreads, Kallanish reports.
NLMK USA’s sales fell by -39% from Q1 to Q1 “...due to a sharp demand drop on the US market amid the Covid-19 pandemic,” the company says.
Revenue likewise fell by -37% on-quarter to $238 million, yielding Ebitda of $3m.
