NLMK USA recovers in 2016
Russian steel producer NLMK’s US wing saw both sales and Ebitda increase in 2016 due to improved general market conditions and pricing, Kallanish reports.
NLMK USA produced Ebitda of $178 million on sales of $1.16 billion, up from an Ebitda loss of $93m on sales of $1.1 billion in 2015.
Margins also improved, going from about -9% in 2015 to 15% in 2016.
