NLMK gears up for Sharon galvanizing line restart
NLMK USA plans to restart its #2 hot-dip galvanizing line in Sharon, Pennsylvania, this month, Kallanish reports.
The restart of the 226,000 tonne/year line was sparked by a 43% uptick in domestic demand, the company says. The line was idled in 2012.
NLMK USA has been running a single 521,000 t/y line on site since 2012.
