Nissan posts record car production in 2016
Nissan Motor’s global production in 2016 increased by 7.5% year-on-year to 5.5 million units, the seventh consecutive year of increase and a calendar-year record, Kallanish learns from the Renault-Nissan joint venture.
In the U.K. production climbed 6.5% y-o-y to 507,447 units while it surged in Spain by 15.8% to 121,260 units. China registered a 9.5% y-o-y hike to 1.3m units, a calendar-year record, Nissan says in a note.
