Nissan to make new investment in Brazil
Japanese car manufacturer Nissan is to make major new investments in Brazil, Kallanish learns from the company.
Nissan will invest BRL 750 million ($186m) in its Brazilian operation located in Resende, Rio de Janeiro State, in preparation for the production of its new SUV. The investment is expected to boost local employment, with 600 new positions to be created in the plant inaugurated in 2014, the company says.
