Nippon Steel upgrades blast furnace at Nagoya
Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel has started the upgrade of its No.3 blast furnace at its Nagoya Works, in line with its plans announced in 2020.
The overhaul period is around 130 days, and the blast furnace is due to be refired in early June, Kallanish learns from Japanese media reports.
