Nippon Steel to purchase two Thai EAF steelmakers
Japan’s Nippon Steel is set to acquire two electric arc furnace based steelmakers, G Steel and G J Steel, in Thailand next year. The moves aim at reducing its carbon footprint while expanding its presence in growth markets, Kallanish learns from Nikkei reports.
