Nippon Steel to close blast furnaces
Japan’s Nippon Steel plans to reduce its domestic production capacity by around -10% as local markets are oversupplied. It meanwhile had to revise lower its profit forecast for its Sangyo Special Steel subsidiary, Kallanish notes.
