Nippon Steel settles met coal contracts

Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel is reported to have signed a contract for coking coal supplies from Australia in the first quarter of 2021. The contract includes pulverised coal injection (PCI) at $97/tonne and semi-soft coking coal at $91/t fob Australia, Kallanish learns.
