Nippon Steel opens Indiana wire plant
Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (Nippon Steel) held an opening ceremony for its new cold heading and forging joint venture in Indiana in the USA on 18 July. It hopes the plant will help it evade protectionism measures when accessing the US market, Kallanish notes.
